History
In 1947 Jim Wehrli, one of Gert and frank’s 13 children, bought Ralph Hermes’s appliance store. Several years later his brother John (Harp) became his partner. Together they built the business by selling quality appliances and vacuum cleaners and offering expert service for a fair price. In 1988 Jim retired and sold his share to harp. Part of that negotiation was that one of Jim’s 10 children, Bill would have the opportunity to buy the vacuum cleaner division and Wehrli’s Vacuum Center was born.
